A lash lift curls and darkens your own lashes for weeks with almost no upkeep. Extensions add length and volume but need refills every few weeks. If you want your natural lashes, but better, choose a lift.
What a lash lift does
A lift sets your natural lashes in a curl from the root, so they look longer and your eyes look more open. Add a tint and they look darker and fuller too, without mascara. With Zoey, a lift with tint is $100 and usually lasts around 6 to 8 weeks.
What extensions do
Extensions are individual lashes glued to your own. They can add a lot of length and drama, but they grow out with your natural lashes, so they need regular fills to keep looking full.
Upkeep, side by side
A lift is one appointment and then nothing: wake up, brush your lashes up, go. Extensions mean refills, oil-free everything and care when you wash your face. If you want low maintenance, the lift wins easily.
Who should choose which
Choose a lift if your lashes are straight or point down, you hate curlers, or you want to skip mascara. Choose extensions if you want length and volume your natural lashes can't give you. Zoey offers lifts and tints, so if you're unsure, ask her what your lashes can do.
Making a lift last
Keep lashes dry for the first 24 hours, skip mascara that day and don't rub your eyes. After that, brush them up in the morning. The lash lift aftercare page has the full checklist.
